Альбом Дуэта 1046

Two people from different cities met in the summer of 2010 – Svetlana Sukhanova, a Krasnoyarsk pianist, and a jew's harp player from Irkutsk – Vladimir Markov.

7th International Jew’s Harp Congress, Yakutsk 2011

International Jew’s Harp Society Bulletin 2 – Compiled by Michael Wright

First, an apology. In Bulletin 1 we said that the virtuoso competition was for men over 25. We have since had information that indicates that this was a mis-translation. The Virtuoso Competition is, in fact, open to male and female players. The competition for women under 25 has been set up to encourage and support female players and the organizers have… Continue

CD Release: "LOOPING jaw harp orchestra – Elephant Road"

All but toothless

A virtual jaw harp orchestra challenges the dominance of guitars. Here's to musical diversity!

Starting from the city jungle of Vienna, the LOOPING jaw harp orchestra has set out to discover unexplored musical regions. Elephant Road, off the beaten track, directly leads to the habitats of rare musical instruments. Three dozen of jaw harps and percussion are a good substrate on which steel pans, saxophones, marimba, trumpets… Continue

Come along and Twang.me!

Hi all.. well I've almost got everything up together and all going well Twang.me should be ok to register. I must stress that this is a personal project so does not have the infrastructure like OMN which is mostly preconstructed on the NING networks. I have my reservations about NING in light of recent events with open source widget developers, it seems NING can drop anybody as they see fit regardless of who may be using the plugins.… Continue
