Antonio Enzan Olías is a professional overtone singer, Grand Shakuhachi Master and an accomplished fujara flute performer.
Antonio has received tuition from Thomas Clements, Michael Ormiston and the Mongolian band Altaï-Hangaï. In 2002 I took part in the first international overtone festival in Germany, called KLANGZAUBER-Festival Chiemsee. (SOUNDMAGIC). It was an unforgettable experience.
In addition, Antonio Enzan have studied under the direction of the best shakuhachi masters. In classic styles he studied with Tanaka Komei, Etsuzan Fujiyoshi. Modern and Contemporary music with Teruhisa Fukuda, Kuniyoshi Sugawara and Tanabe Shôzan.
In 2011 Etsuzan Fujiyoshi sensei awarded him with the professional name Saiho Enzan ·西方炎山· that means Fire Mountain from the West. In 2014 Teruhisa Fukuda awarded him with the Shakuhachi Dai Shihan "Grand Shakuhachi Master" license.
He has released his first studio album "Encuentros" in 2007 recorded in Kanna Earth Studios in Japan.
He has colaborated in the album Cantigas de Nuestro Señor produced by Eduardo Paniagua, one of the most foremost especialist in Spanish Medieval Music.
His last collaboration was on the studio album produced by Erwin Grafe "Canciones Incrustables".
