Riccardo Misto Overtones: 4 notes chords with two singers

Normally, when we have two notes together, we don't get a chord: we need a minimum of three different notes to produce what we call a chord. Therefore two singers cannot produce any chordal structure: but with Overtones singing technique, on the other hand, two people can easily produce even a four-note chord. In addition, the combinations of harmonic frequencies, when added together, create an additional audible effect.
Considering the C major seventh chord ( Cmaj7/ C 7 +), where the interval of the major seventh is added to the major triad:
C = Tonic
E = major third
G = Fifth
B = major seventh
To obtain this result, the first singer can sing the note C as the fundamental and produce the fifth (G) with the 3rd or 6th harmonic.
The second can sing the third (E) as fundamental and produce the major seventh (B) with the 3rd or 6th harmonic.

Normalmente, quando abbiamo due note insieme, non otteniamo un accordo: abbiamo bisogno di un minimo di tre note diverse per produrre ciò che noi chiamiamo accordo. Quindi due cantanti non possono produrre alcuna struttura armonica: ma con la tecnica del Canto Armonico, invece, due persone possono facilmente produrre anche un accordo di quattro note. Inoltre, le combinazioni di frequenze armoniche, sommandosi creano un ulteriore effetto udibile. Considerando l'accordo DO settima Maggiore (DO 7+ maggiore), dove si aggiunge alla triade maggiore l’intervallo di settima maggiore:
DO = Tonica
MI = Terza maggiore
SOL= Quinta
SI = Settima maggiore
Per ottenere questo risultato, il primo cantante può cantare come fondamentale la Tonica DO e produrre la quinta (SOL) con il III o VI armonico.
Il secondo può cantare come fondamentale la terza (MI) e produrre la settima maggiore (SI) con il III o VI armonico.
