About me: My name is Sascha Litschi. I live in Zürich, Switzerland and I study Music at the Zürich University of Arts with a focus on classical singing as a baritone. A few years ago I started to learn overtone singing with Wolfgang Saus' DVD, and since then I am fascinated by the sounds and possibilities of overtones. That's why I am currently looking to integrate more overtone singing into my studies and musical performances.
About me: I'm a self made musician, music teacher and an Overtone fan and singer. I teach Overtone singing workshops in Spain and have given many concerts introducing Overtone singing along with many ethnic instruments rich in harmonics. I've been studying and investigating about this type of chant for over 10 years now, made my own home recordings and now singing mantras from India introducing harmonics once in a while. I consider Harmonics chant to be a trascendent way of meditation, mind soothing, relaxing and therapeutical way to aquire a deeper insight of my self and a fantastic means of artistic musical expression.
About me: I have studied harmonic overtone singing with David Hykes and throat singing with Igor Koshkendey of the Tuvan band Chirgilchen. I have taught Sound Healing at various qigong conferences around the states.
About me: I am a norwegian composer, who came in contact with overtone singing through Lasse Thoresens "Concrescence" project. During the years 2004-2006 we worked practically with overtone singing in workshops and seminars, and the project concluded in a concert at the 2006 Ultima festival where 6 new compositions were performed by the vocal sextet "Nordic Voices". One of these was my "O magnum mysterium".
