Hi Steve,

Thought I'd pick your brain for some pointers. I am building a tour for Imre Peemot in the US next Spring and wouldn't mind stopping through Denver on our way back to Kansas from California. It's been awhile since I've been to Denver and I never really went to many shows there. Just wanted to see if you had any ideas on what sort of venues or groups would be worth contacting to get a performance scheduled? Thanks for any help in advance and hope this finds you among many blessings.

Cheers,

Patrick

I love Huun Huur Tu as well my friend! If I had to choose a song that I most enjoy it may be Xöömeyimny Kagbas-La Men from "Where Young Grass Grows." Check it out if you haven't and let me know what you think. Oh and I think you were talking about Anna-Maria Hefele. She is actually a member on here so you should visit her page! As far as the personal throat singing, it's interesting that you practice mostly sygyt. I've actually practiced kargyraa the most. It can be rough on the throat, but it's truly a process of small steps. I feel the same way as you about the music in general; it seems to have something that speaks to the spirit.

Welcome to the site Steve! Denver is my hometown actually, and I do miss Colorado. What throat singers are you into?

Cheers,

Patrick
