Sherden Overtone Choir - a fusion of tuvan throat singing (khoomei), overtone singing and modern singing techniques, in a choral context.
As a band we are:
Ilaria Orefice & Giovanni Bortoluzzi (founders)
Voices, jaw harps, fujara, frame drum, bawu, other flutes.
We sing in many Tuvan styles like Khoomei, sygyt, kargyraa, borbangnadyr,ezengileer,dumchuktaar and chylandyk, and Sardinian throat singing styles as well, like bassu and contra.
