A Fibonacci series from classical Indian prosody (teaching about verses, stress, syllables) discovered by Virahanka possibly 6th, 7th or 8th century AD.
Short syllable = 1 unit
Long syllable = 2 units
There is 1 way to produce words of one units length: short syllable (violet)
There are 2 ways to produce words of two units length: short-short or long (blue).
There are 3 ways to produce words of length: short-short-short, short-long or long-short (green).
There are 5 ways to produce words of four units length: short-short-short-short, short-short-long, short-long-short, long-short-short, long-long (yellow).
There are 8.... (orange)
There are 13.. (red)
