Hi Filip,
I saw and heard you and Spectrum in cologne. Realy nice performance. You have powerfull overtones. Go on. Hope to see you (and Spectrum) again.
Hi Filip, thanks for your mail. It does'nt matter that you did'nt see me in your Cologne cencert. You was probably still in the moof of the nice sounds of the Spektrum choir which gave a really good performance with fine voice intonation. I'll performe with Claudiha in the Prague Overtone Festival in September. Probably see you there?
Lothar

Hello Filip,
Good to be amongst friends and people who understand the appeal of the simplest instruments on earth. I posted a video clip on YouTube. You can access it if you search for MadoJazz.
Madosini is going to be available in Europe between the 7th and 17th of July. If you hear of any festivals or possible workshops anywhere, she will be accompanied of a little group of musicians including a translator (she speaks beautiful isiXhosa only).
Thanks for the message. I listened to some of your music and find it astounding !
It is good to be within the family of the overtone addicts. I uploaded two songs Mado and I do with MadoJazz. The flute is always one of those Lekgodilos without mouthpiece or any side holes. The one playing on Surinam is an idea of mine with a trombone effect so I can modulate and particularly get that glissando effect.
I look forward to the festival. Will probably be at another festival this July in France, " Le Rêve de l'Aborigène"qui sera du 18 juillet au 20 juillet. Heard of it ?
Look forward to meeting one day.
Hello Filip,
I also love legends! It is true that my wish for getting in tune with my true voice was so strong that I tried to learn everything to do with the voice and especially to explore the background: from where and when the sound starts in the body. This brought me to the most important infuence, the "l`art de l`ecoute" (with Marie-Pierre Labrune, France), where you learn to find out about the sounds you heard in the womb of your mother in the time you body was created. This is really an interesting "cave" of different experiences. The other important teacher is Sri Swami Kaleshwar, South-India, Penukonda. There I study old vedic knowledge from till now unknown palmleavebooks. So I learned about the essence of sound through sanskrit and tellugu mantras.
But more than a legend I am very ambitious of finding out how the frequence of the soul is connected with the embodied life.
May be, we, the Duo "vola voce"Lothar Berger and me, are coming this autumn 2008 to Praha to sing there.
Thank you for telling nice legends, with best regards,
Claudiha-Gayatri
Hello Filip, my name is Pedro Espi-Sanchis. I just joined the network (together with a very special musician I work with who plays the Xhosa musical bows (Uhadi and Mhube). I play the Lekgodilo flute which is a harmonic flute from Lesotho. I am interested in participating in festivals and conferences on the Overtone theme. I believe there is one in Prague in September ?
Can you give me some more info ?
NOTE:I thank Jan Stanek - choirmaster of Spektrum - for giving me permission to use this record of my first composition for Spektrum "SoulFlight" on my website.

I feel that my main purpose is to research the connection between the soul and the sound.
Thank Thee for Thy kind words. I look forward to autumn 2008 !
