bandcamp experience?

Hi,Are you familiar with Bandcamp? This service, available at http://bandcamp.com - offers people to sell their music on pretty comfortable conditions, and seems to be very easy to use. I'm curious if anyone had a wider experience with this company.I carefully started here:http://conscious-sound.bandcamp.comBut because I have much more to offer, I'm curious if this service is worth of deeper…See More

Freesound.org and our talk about spatial hearing/recording

Freesound.org (The Freesound Project) is a great place, where people can share their own recorded sounds (for other people to use). I admit, some of my CDs I made using freesound selected resources. Until now, they have about 110 000 samples in various directions, like synths, vocals, instruments, electronic sounds, "strange" sounds, ordinary sounds, field recordings and so on. Even overtone singing examples are available. I encourage you to give them a try. What I also like there - are people… Continue

Profile Information

About me:
(from the perspective of a friend): "Chris is a soundworker, consciousness researcher, and author; in other words - he is a full-time Explorer, like Bob Monroe and similar pioneers. He works with gongs, singing bowls, noise patterns, natural sounds processed by a computer, but is also an overtone singer. He knows how to design a good and effective soundspace. One of his latest developments is something called 'Conscious Sound'. If you believe, that you've heard everything in the soundwork area - you should try such soundscapes. Carefully designed, and very powerful, they are effective in various consciousness applications. Contemplation and deep meditation, relax and sleep, massage (some albums provide a good sound massage for the body, through conventional speakers) and energy work, emotional work with encoded programs and archetypes, but also deep out-of-body journeys, lucid dreaming and guided imagery. The major difference is in the span and quality of the experiences. For example if something like a 'cosmic journeys' or 'past life meetings' was unfamiliar to you, you should begin to get used to such ones. He says, that - 'today, it is somehow difficult to promote a new, good product; every seller will claim, that his or her is the best one. But the simple fact is - only a product that works efficiently - is efficient. Try it, and make your own judgement or opinion, based upon your experiences. And don't worry - although you have no limitations other than you want to perceive - only you can change you, and no one else. These are only a tools for you, to make such changes easier. Have fun, and Happy Journeys'".
Instruments:
overtone singing - various styles, singing bowls and gongs, synthesized sound textures, various wind chimes, nature.
Influences:
various influences, but for overtone singing: Mirek Rajkowski, David Hykes, Huun-Huur-Tu

Hi Christopher,

allow me to write that your page here is really impressive with your complete CD presentation. Maybe it will be useful to post one or two or three entries as a blog which could be featured on the main page - and transfered to the "I like the Overtone Music Network facebook page" - it is only a consideration.

All the best for you,
Jens
