- About me:
- overtone and improvisation musician, TaKeTiNa rhythm teacher, leader of Bonner Obertonchor "vox intra voces", duo "vole voce" with Claudiha-Gayatri Matussek, ensemble "frequenzen", ensemble "transfer".
I understand overtone singing as part of the art of expressing the vox humana in all different ways, as a comprehensive musical art that has it's roots not only in the asiatic room but also in our own music tradition as well as in contemporary music. Beyond that overtone singing is the connection from the personal expression to the trans-personal world and a way to inner silence.
I like to co-operate with classical musicians, theater performances, classical indian musicians etc. allways looking for new forms of musical expression.

- Tanpura, Shrutibox, Berimbao, Tschanggo, Mbira, other sound and percussion instruments
- Influences:
- Coming from classical and folk music my first contact with overtones came in the early nineties from the Bonn artist Udo Claaßen who learned overton singing from David Hykes records. I was faszinated, joined his group and followed the way of overtones since.
My teachers: Michael Vetter, Daniel Diestelkamp, Dorotheè Marzinzik, Reinhard Schimmelpfeng, Christian Bollmann, Ralf Peters, Prof. Renate Peter, Reinhard und Cornelia Flatischler.

bottrop und umgebung schwingt immer noch durch unser obertone - meets - india - konzert. Das macht freude und wir sollten dran bleiben...! Ich würde dich gerne auf diesem forum als freund begrüßen, bzw. Deiner sein, wie immer das technisch auch machbar ist. der sinn hat sich mir noch nicht wirklich offenbart, zumal wir ja ohnehin via email kommunizieren. Toll allerdings, daß die ganze szene weltweit ein forum hat.
