Profile Information
- About me:
- I am musician and teacher of throat singing, stone and wooden sculptor. My favourite overtone singing is kargyraa. Kargyraa is the lowest among the base styles of throat singing. It is closely connected with my identity with the roots, the lowest part of the shaman tree.
As teenager I was playing at dancing parties.
I have wide group of musicians, friends I have a chance and honour to play with. I was a member of Biosintes group, I had rock group Gen-DOS, with my British friends Ken Hyder and Tim Hodgkinson we form an experimental band called K-SPACE (the music incorporates the elements of shamanic culture as well as jazz). I have cooperated with young Polish musician (electronic instruments, ambients) Darek Makaruk.
With a pleasure and satisfaction I am taking part in avant-garde, improvised music projects like Shaman nights or Bridge over Ural.
Since four years I found the way to express myself ,it's solo performance in which I play traditional Tuvan music and my own compositions deeply steeped in shamanic tradition. It's way of my expression in which I pay homage to the sun, earth, fire, water, all the nature and my ancestors, especially my grandmother.
