- Mouthbow COSMICBOW:
I have developped a new mouthbow I called "Cosmicbow", and I play on it...
A bit like for Jew's harp, the mouth is used as a sound box, but with more mobility by the jaw and lips, and opportunity to sing continuying beating strings with the stick as well... This instrument and the way to play it were born from several years search, and from inspiration which has come to me by successive waves, like a holy current, which suddenly crosses us, flaring us up, and fills us up with infinity ... this mysterious and wild current, full of light, which catches us unaware and disappears suddenly, leaving behind it just an immense gratitude ... Its present shape occurred to me on a beautiful autumn, in 2008, like a miracle in my life... and since then, it never stop to develop... and we develop together, as one being... The fact it has four(or five) tunable strings give it a lot of harmonic resources and many possibilities... You just have to tune the Cosmicbow on an other chord to have an "other" instrument in one's hand... each chord is a key that's open several doors... and there is tens differents possible chords... to explore unknown territories, virgin and wild, from the nature of sounds, from our own nature ... We can immerse ourselves in this music without knowing anything, just by following our ears, and our heart. We don't need references, we open ours own tracks !
The bow, its the curve of the sun rise as well, a new day, a new beginning... because the energy of spirit is the one of the present moment, spontaneity, free of everything, ever new... I make Cosmibows out of several woods, generaly mixed. My priorities are the sound and harmonic resources, and a long and profound resonance... . . . . . . .

Arc en bouche COSMICBOW:
Le cosmicbow est un arc en bouche de mon invention, doté de quatre (ou cinq) cordes accordables... C'est un instrument acoustique, il n'y a aucun effet ajouté, seulement un micro pour l'enregistrer ou l'amplifier. Un peu comme pour la guimbarde, c'est la bouche qui sert de caisse de résonance, mais avec plus de mobilité au niveau des mâchoires et des lèvres, et aussi la possibilité de chanter tout en continuant de percuter les cordes avec la baguette... Cet instrument et la façon d'en jouer sont nés de plusieurs années de recherche, et de l'inspiration qui est venue à moi par vagues successives, comme un courant béni, qui tout à coup nous traverse, nous embrase, et nous remplit d'infini... ce courant mystérieux et sauvage, peuplé de lumière, qui nous prend par surprise et disparaît subitement, ne laissant derrière lui qu'une immense gratitude... Sa forme actuelle est venue un bel automne, en 2008, comme un miracle dans ma vie... et depuis, il n'a eu de cesse d'évoluer... et nous évoluons ensemble, comme un seul être... Le fait que toutes les cordes soient accordables lui donne une grande richesse harmonique et mélodique et beaucoup de possibilités... Il suffit de régler le Cosmicbow sur un autre accord pour se retrouver avec un "autre" instrument entre les mains... chaque accord étant une clé qui ouvre plusieurs portes... et il y a des dizaines d'accords différents possibles... pour explorer des territoires inconnus, vierges et sauvages, de la nature du son, de notre propre nature... on peut y plonger sans rien en connaître, juste suivre l'oreille, et le coeur. Pas besoin de références, nous ouvrons nos propres voies !
Je fabrique les Cosmicbows dans plusieurs essences, parfois associées. Mes priorités sont la richesse du son, des harmoniques et une longue et profonde résonance... . . . . . .
