About me:
OVERTONE SINGER, VOCALIST, JEW´S HARPIST, FUJARIST, DIDGERIDOO PLAYER, PLAYER OF ETHNIC FLUTES & STRING INSTRUMENTS, MUSICIAN, COMPOSER, TEACHER, INSTRUMENT MAKER & ARTIST

As a book author, painter, illustrator, multimedia artist & versatile and eclectic musican mainly occupied in the field of world music, overtone music, historic music & fusing organic sounds with ambient soundscapes, Bernhard Mikuskovics has been involved in music and pictorial arts since his early childhood, and started to research on ethnic instruments after graduating from a high school for graphic design & printing processes in Vienna, Austria. Since then he has been working extensively on various eclectic art projects surrounding music, painting and literature.

Over the years engagements as a performing artist at international world & folk music festivals led him to many different venues including the 7. international jew´s harp festival and congress at Jakutsk, Russia (Solo and as a trio with Albin Paulus & Wolf Janscha), 8. Overtonedays at Dresden, Germany (with NAM in 2010), 1. Virtual Jew´s Harp Festival at Kirchdorf an der Krems, Austria (Solo in 2010), Sterzinger Osterspiele at Vipiteno, Italy (Solo in 2010), Ancient Trance Festival at Taucha / Leipzig, Germany (with NAM in 2011 and with Soundscapes of Anamaneh in 2010), Le Rêve de l´Aborigène Festival at Airvault, France (with NAM in 2009), Austria Didgeridoo Festival at Bruck an der Mur, Austria (with Soundscapes of Anamaneh in 2008 and with NAM in 2007), Voice Mania at Vienna, Austria (with Voices of Anamaneh in 2005), Festival der leisen Töne at Würzburg, Germany (as a duo with Markus Riccabonain 2004).

Das Buch zur CD "Thaluplaces":

Die essentiellsten Fragen des Lebens ­ "Woher komme ich?", "Wohin gehe ich?", "Woraus besteht das Universum?", "Warum besteht es?"­ beschreiben nur den analytischen, intellektuellen Aspekt des menschlichen Geistes. Hello,since 1996 i'm in love with the Fujara when i heard the duo Naturton from Switzerland and your newly added song is very lively and charming featuring the Fujara especially wonderful.I'm the happy owner of Max Brumberg Flute but unfortunately i don't practice enough, i still have certain problems with breath control and fingers....
