About me:
I'm trying to learn overtone singing because it brings all the boys to the yard. I started experimenting with it at the end of last year (2016) mostly to occupy myself on frequent car rides although I've been familiar with it for a couple years now. It was one of Anna Marie Hefele's videos that made me start. However, still when I think of throat singing, I think of Inuits and grunting and panting into a loved one's face... I may be using throat singing colloquially for something else. *winkwink*
As a band we are:
I had a band in college... then I realized I had no innate musical ability apart from lyric writing. Still I sing constantly much to the distress of all ears. Most instrumental skills have been completely forgotten.
Instruments:
Vocals, Ukulele, Guitar(s), Cello, Clarinet, Native American Flutes & Hand Drums (neither of which require skill lol), Ocarinas, Electronic Organ? (that's what she said)

My current fascinations are hydrophones and tank drums, both I would like to build if given the time and skills. I had a liking for Erhus and Qins in days of yore. And gamelans during my SE asian phase in middleschool. Basically, if it makes noise, I'm game.
Influences:
Huun Huur Tu, Alash Ensemble, Hanngai... Alex E. Smith, Perry “Cheevers” Toppah, Nitanis “Kit” Landry (Largo), Pura Fe, Jennifer Kreisberg, Fawn Wood none of who sing overtones but they're where I learned to make noise out of my face hole in general.
