a common space for harmonic overtones

I could write one ;-)
But I'm involved in other project right now.
Type in google words: microtonal vsti
You can try also on www.kvraudio.com
You should find some virtual synthesizers, and they can be used (hosted) with variety of audio software like Cubase, Reaper and so on.
Not a bad idea. I use VSTi synthesizers too, a couple of them support microtonal scales and even harmonics editing. I suppose it would be possible to just set up a few different tracks with the same plugin and just set each track to a different scale set, then you could play multiple scales "accurately".
Thanks for all those responses. Been away for a while so sorry for very late reply. I'll check out your suggestions and get back to you...
Hi Dan and Christopher,
I have finally succeeded with H-Pi's Custom Scale Editor and their new Microsynth software. I can map pure spectra to a midi keyboard or any other midi instrument. I have also learnt to play them on my guitar now - out of frustration - but this has turned out to be most satisfying. I'm now, at last, going to form my live spectral band. :-)
Thank you both for your interest and help. I hope all is going well with you guys.
